The recruitment drive is part of an ongoing programme and follows myFavouriteGarage.com’s success in developing its business from vehicle fleets.
This year myFavouriteGarage.com expects to direct fleet business valued at around £1m into its network. The myFavouriteGarage.com management plans to develop its fleet business further, and needs good quality garages to carry out the work.
myFavouriteGarage.com director Ian James said that new recruits to the network face a tough assessment.
He said: “Private motorists and fleets alike are moving their vehicle servicing business into the independent sector for reasons of cost and because of concerns over customer care.
“To capitalise on this opportunity we have to deliver consistently high standards and potential new recruits to the myFavouriteGarage.com network will be assessed on their facilities, their technical knowledge and capabilities, and their approach to customer care issues before they are admitted to membership.
“If they meet our criteria, they can join, and take advantage of our marketing programme and referrals scheme from day one, based solely on their location and their capacity to manage the work required.”
myFavouriteGarage.com is interested in hearing from independents in all areas of the country, whether they want to develop business from fleets or from private motorists.
myFavouriteGarage.com has a Code of Practice that its members must adhere to, and it actively works with its members to promote high standards and training in all aspects of servicing, mechanical repair work, and customer service.
